This project explores the architectural application of simulated material behavior using 3ds Max’s cloth and mass effects dynamics. Material responses were recorded across a range from 0 to 100 and translated into geometric forms that represent various stages of deformation. The lattice modifier tool was applied to these forms to generate structural frames, while the Turbosmooth feature was used to refine and soften edges, enhancing visual and tactile qualities.
Through this process, the project investigates how digitally simulated materials can inform architectural design strategies. It highlights the potential for creating dynamic, responsive elements that react to environmental forces, expanding the possibilities for adaptive architecture.
