Droukas Court

This project proposes a continuous prototype of the existing Droukas Court in Des Moines, reimagined as a potential solution to accommodate displaced populations. It critically examines the shortcomings of the current development and integrates responsive improvements into the new design. Site-specific climatic analyses—including sun orientation, wind patterns, and noise conditions—played a crucial role in guiding spatial planning, positioning, and zoning strategies throughout the development.
